Excellent suggestion Homme!
I can clearly see where the successful version takes off and the "failure"
occurs, but no clear indication, to me at least, what the cause of the
"failure" is. The library set is more complex than I've shown here, but the key
libs should be those I've listed. I will attempt to instrument the 1.9.2
version to get further insight what is causing the problem.
