Hi, gdalinfo 27002570PAS_dem.tif tells me: ... PARAMETER["false_easting",6458320.416666666], ... UNIT["us_survey_feet",0.3048006096012192],
gdalwarp 27002570PAS_dem.tif out.tif -t_srs epsg:4326 tells me in DEBUG mode:
OGRCT: Source: +proj=lcc +lat_1=40.96666666666667 +lat_2=39.93333333333333 +lat_0=39.33333333333334 +lon_0=-77.75 +x_0=1968500 +y_0=0 +datum=NAD83 +units=us-ft +no_defs
My wild guess is that there is something going wrong with the false easting value and the metre/feet conversion.

Hi, I’ve downloaded the file 27002570PAS_dem.zip from ftp://pamap.pasda.psu.edu/pamap_lidar/cycle1/DEM/South/2008/20000000/ and have attempted to warp the data to WGS84 using gdalwarp. The output should be around 75W but is being warped to 91W. I’m using gdalwarp 1.9.2 which was installed as part of OSGeo4W. Any ideas?
