Many thanks, Jukka. I agree that separating bugs from enhancements could be useful - especially as the enhancements list would represent tasks not yet attainable in the GDAL Suite and if there is an opportunity to add a 'me too' flag. This latter could help indicate enhancement requests with a broader interest. Of course, there will be a need for periodic review: some enhancement requests will reflect existing functionality or recently added facilities. It might be usefull to annotate fulfilled enhancement requests with the version number in which it was delivered. There may be times when a submitted bug becomes an enhancement request, perhaps due to the scale of the changes necessary.
