Still looking into this problem, i've run gdalinfo with -mdd VERSION,
output is :
Metadata:
COLORSPACE=RGB
COMPRESSION_RATE_TARGET=10
VERSION=2
Looking on http://www.gdal.org/frmt_ecw.html, i may be facing backwards
compatibility issue with a V2 file, something i was not expecting since
V5.x ECW plugin is supposed to be backward compatible.
Using gdal 1.7.2 i have no mdd at all, and no srs reported but somehow
the map coordinates are good when importing it in Worldwind.
Could it be related to the plugin compatibility issue related there
