mario,

I think you should ask this on a list where there are Fedora
packagers.

Best regards,

Ari

yes, I did.
It was suggested to "set gdal_dir enviroment variable to point to
proper location".

Hm. I'm guessing, you have

%define gdal_dir $HOME/linux-res-6.3/gdal

and the error message is

-6.3/gdal/lib/libgdal.so', needed by
'backend/wbpublic/libwbpublic.so.6.3.4'.

So is the string "$HOME/linux-res-6.3/gdal" somehow not good since it is broken in the message? Maybe it should not have "-" (at least three of them)?

Ari

I am not sure how to do so, your advise is welcome.
thanks
mario

Yes, now I see /usr/include/gdal/ogrsf_frmts.h

Still, I am not able to built.
I am not sure whether it is a issue about gdal, but maybe you know
how
to fix.

Now the msg is:

make[2]: *** No rule to make target '/root/linux-res
-6.3/gdal/lib/libgdal.so', needed by
'backend/wbpublic/libwbpublic.so.6.3.4'. Stop.<<<

what does it mean?

I appreciate your help
mario

ps
mysql-workbench.spec states:
# Directory where iodbc and pyodbc binaries are located. Build both
using the build_iodbc.sh script
# If using distribution provided ODBC manager lib and pyodbc, then
comment out this
%define odbc_home $HOME/linux-res-6.3/usr
%define linuxres_home $HOME/linux-res-6.3
%define vsqlite_dir $HOME/linux-res-6.3/vsqlite
%define ctemplate_dir $HOME/linux-res-6.3
%define gdal_dir $HOME/linux-res-6.3/gdal

ps
# locate libgdal.so
/usr/lib/libgdal.so
/usr/lib/libgdal.so.1
/usr/lib/libgdal.so.1.18.2
