If this option is still on the table, I'd be willing to do the work of moving GDAL svn and trac to OSGeo gogs/gitea infrastructure. Note interested in helping with move to github, though I would be willing to help out with fixing the mirroring on github so that tags are correctly setup as tags (similar to how they are on PostGIS mirror) https://github.com/postgis/postgis Sandro already did a proof of concept with GEOS though he didn't officially move the tickets off of trac. I have on my list to experiment moving Gogs to gitea and iron out any issues.
