Hi, If anybody has opinions about a change in the netCDF CF Convention regarding the geostationary projection, see below.

Thus, I'd like to envite you to express your opinion, if possible, about an issue that has been opened in the cf-conventions repository ( https://github.com/cf-convention/cf-conventions/issues/230). Just to be clear, I'm not representing any institution but I've been producing/processing netcdf files for a while... The reason I'm getting in contact, is because I'm not clear about the impacts of this change form your side. Since this seems to be a change in the CF standard that will be used only for the "geostationary" projection, I'm afraid it will increase the number of exceptions in your code and all the libraries that support this projection... Iven if you don't want to participate in the discussion it is good that you be aware of this. Thanks in advance, Best Regards, João Macedo ----------------------------------------- -- Spatialys - Geospatial professional services http://www.spatialys.com _______________________________________________ gdal-dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/gdal-dev
