The mention of 90 in the stackexchange thread is confusing. I think it is a manual try, but the original GeoTIFF used for convertion, and which triggered the error message, has a positive value for the y-res / south-up orientation, so a 180 deg rotation -- Spatialys - Geospatial professional services http://www.spatialys.com
