Our Mac instances must use the Apple-provided compiler I suppose. We also have a Linux CI config using a recent clang (from Fedora:rawhide, so cutting edge)

OpenMP detection is done through the CMake provided FindOpenMP module: https://cmake.org/cmake/help/latest/module/FindOpenMP.html

But I would expect your compiler to support it although it is not cutting edge.

You can explicitly disable it by setting -DGDAL_USE_OPENMP=OFF

Hi,

It looks like CI is way ahead of my config. Are you using an Apple-provided compiler or one from clang or elsewhere?

    Hi,

I updated to the latest master and am now seeing the following
    warning during compilation:

    [156/1486] Building CXX object
    alg/CMakeFiles/alg.dir/thinplatespline.cpp.o
clang: warning: argument unused during compilation: '-Xclang
    -fopenmp' [-Wunused-command-line-argument]

If anyone has some info on this, please let me know.
