I think Enrico uses Waf - this is probably easiest but you will need to install Python. The link below is for Geany but it's the same procedure: http://www.geany.org/manual/index.html#waf-based-build-system It might be possible to use the autotools build system but you will probably have to install tons of autotools stuff and also I don't know of anyone who's done this, so there could be issues.
