I'm sorry your running into this, Does the console [accessible via
the "Developer"
menu in Safari] show any errors?
Also, Do you see the "Google Gears Settings..." menu item in the Safari
menu?
If you close Safari and reopen it does this work, how about if you refresh
the page?
Can you attach a screenshot?
