I was unable to reproduce this, here are the steps I took:
* Reset Safari, Quit and relaunched
* Logged into Wordpress, enabled Gears and wait for syncing to finish.
* Logged into Facebook with "remember me" checked.
* Quit Safari.
* Opened Safari and navigated to facebook - I was still logged in.
Some questions:
* Can you provide an exact set of steps you tried including a specific site.
* Do you have any other Safari extensions installed?
It sounds like your cookie store is getting blown away between browser
restarts,
Gears shouldn't be doing this.
I'm guessing what your seeing is the effect of some other Safari extension
or it's
interaction with Gears. If you provide a precise set of reproducible steps
it may be
possible to track this down.
