New issue 801 by brianjlandau: [Mac][Safari] Gears InputManger doesn't
appear to load properly in Leopard
http://code.google.com/p/gears/issues/detail?id=801
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Gears 0.5.4.2
2. Logout or Restart computer
3. Login again
4. Open Safari
5. Look under Safari menu for a "Google Gears Settings" menu item
What is the expected output?
A "Google Gears Setting" menu item under the Safari menu.
What do you see instead?
Nothing.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Gears 0.5.4.2,
MacOSX Leopard 10.5.6 build 9G55,
Safari version 3.2.1 (5525.27.1)
Please provide any additional information below.
When I go to the Gears website (http://gears.google.com/), or any gears
enabled site, it says
that the gears plugin is loaded, and think it's working.
This also seems related to a problem where if I go to a gears enabled site
that I haven't been to
before it doesn't ask me to give it permission it just says it's been
denied permission.
