New issue 834 by Dark.NZ: Large PDF causes FF3 to crash when offline. http://code.google.com/p/gears/issues/detail?id=834 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Have a largish PDF file as a part of the gears manifest. (One I'm using is 6.67megs) 2. Use gears to get it as an offline resource and disconect from internet to make sure it will use offline resource. 3. Open pdf file in firefox. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected: Adobe firefox plugin will allow the pdf to be shown in the tab. Actual: Firefox will either crash or produce a tab which when gone to does not show anything (if you switched from another tab those contents will still be on screen). What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Gears 0.5.4.2;official;opt;win32;firefox Vista 64 Please provide any additional information below. The file opens perfectly well in firefox normaly, while online, it only crashes when it attempts to open the offline version. Also, if a link to the file is set up you can right click it and download the file while offline and that works fine, whereas loading it does not. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
