Issue 801 is still not fixed in 0.5.15.0.
When visiting
http://code.google.com/apis/gears/samples/hello_world_geolocation.html
Safari does not ask for permission and tells me "Error using Geolocation
API: Page
does not have permission to access location information using Google Gears"
