It is indeed disconcerting. The rate at which the messages are being added
to the error
console is greater than one per second for me (Firefox 3 on WinXP sp3). Is
the error really
supposed to be that frequent?
I just noticed this while looking for an error message in the error
console, but it was
lost in the gears error message 'flood', which was somewhat annoying.
Googling for the error string didn't return any results. I'm pasting it
here for others to
find: Failed to load XPCOM component: C:\Program Files\Google\Google
Gears\Firefox\components\gears_ff2.dll
