I've had this problem with FoxDie in windows xp.
The problem is that the Gears dialogs are not visible when a theme is
loaded.
Pressing "esc" will "close" the dialog and return the browser to normal
working but
since the dialog is not visible, users cannot accept the site request and
proceed.
Switching to the default theme, performing the actions again will produce
the dialog
window and allow the user to proceed, either trusting or denying access.
Only with
certain themes are the dialogs somehow supressed. They "exist" but are not
visible.
