For those who see an empty page on http://gears.google.com, you can install
Google
Gears in FF 3.5 directly by using those URLs:
Mac: http://addons.mozilla.org/google/google_gears_osx.html
Linux: http://addons.mozilla.org/google/google_gears_linux.html
The URLs above redirect to the appropriate XPI files that Firefox will
handle correctly.
For Windows, the installation is different I think:
