I have the same problem. Just upgraded to FF 3.5.1 (already had Gears
0.5.30). There
is a loop which doesn't allow me to access gmail. This goes away when I
disable Gears.
Seem to alternates between:
https://www.google.com/accounts/OfflineLogin?continue= ....
-and-
https://mail.google.com/mail/login_complete.html?dest=https://mail.google.com/
....
I have used FF 3.0.12 with no problem and Gears 0.5.XX for a while
including 0.5.30
since it came out.
System with problems
Vista
Firefox 3.5.1
Gears 0.5.30
