same here. I'm trying Google Latitude on my machine. Upon examining the logs in the windows event viewer, I think the installer is attempting to connect to: https://tools.google.com/service/update2 which is non-existent or not alive. can anyone check on this? Here's what I found in the event viewer The description for Event ID ( 20 ) in Source ( Google Update ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Network Request Error.
