I trying setting up development enviroment for gears for Mobile 5. I'm running Virtual PC 2007, and the emulator for Mobile 5. The installation of gears goes ok, but when trying any of the samples applications (from the web or from my local webserver), the screen just show the entrypage, but the controls are locked, but the confirmation which ask for permission to use gears for this domain doesen't show. This should probably be a popup, but I'm not sure . The Gears option in the explorer menu doesn't work either, just showing a page with two rectangles and two gearwheels.
Any suggestions?
