Hi this is my desktop-icon file looks like on gnome (ubuntu 8.10) --- from shell --- mic...@michal-c1:~/Pulpit$ cat ~/Desktop/Gmail.desktop [Desktop Entry] Type=Application Version=1.0 Name=Gmail Icon=/home/michal/.mozilla/firefox/<your FF profile dir here>/Google Gears for Firefox/mail.google.com/https_443/icons#desktop/ Gmail_linux.png Exec="/usr/bin/firefox" "https://mail.google.com/mail/" --- end ---
I believe, if you create similar launcher file in your desktop directory, it will work. Just make sure you have correct Icon= path.
