Thanks for your response. 

I'm sorry but I don't have any information about GPS support with Gears
or Android. However, the good news from my client's perspective is they
don't need ultra precise GPS  geolocation. From what they have told me,
cell phone tower triangulation translated into lat/long coordinates
should be precise enough for their needs.

Hi Paul. Correct me if you know more! As far as I realized, there
neither is support for gps on gears and android. Really in case you have
other information, call yourself happy and please let me know. Was
enthused about doing a similiar service only to find out this bitter
truth. So either forget about gears and android alltogether or try to
live with non precise geolocation...
