I have a few questions about grandis cages. First, I am getting ready to make or buy
a new cage for my adult pair; does anyone have any opinions on CagesByDesign.com 's
cages and the reptarium cages as grandis homes? I've never made an animal cage
before, and as there is nothing adequate locally I will either have to make one or
order one.
Second, is there a general gecko size-to-cage-size rule of thumb for Phelsuma? I am
specifically wondering how to judge when my hatchlings have outgrown their current
enclosures. When is a young grandis too big for a 5 gal tank? 10 gal?
Any helpful advice/suggestions/opinions would be appreciated!
Also, what is a normal summer/winter temperature range for grandis? How much can my
room cool off at night before they need additional night heat? I have a couple other
herps that want to hibernate, and I like a cool room so I would like to let it stay
relatively cool during the winter if possible.
