I agree that the Lumichrome is a much brighter light. I use a both the
Reptisun 5.0 and the Lumichromes and usually order from LLLReptile. They are
3 for around $35-$36 which comes out to a little less than $12/bulb. FWIW, I
use the cheapo Lights of America fixtures that can be purchased at Home
Depot, Walmart, Target, etc. (Although, I do remove the plastic shield.)
