I have not heard that, that does not mean it is not a factor. I think is it more
dangerous for egg-binding if she is over five and has not been bred. I would feed
her 6-7 crix of appropriate size at least 3x weekly. She should lose weight if she
is bred. She does sound fat but I'll bet her healthy weight will be right up
there.
