I would put some neosporin on it and hope it does not get infected. Be sure to
keep him on paper towels and keep his substrate clean.

Possibly, just keep it clean. Be sure to provide a moist shedding area as in a
cool-whip tub with a couple of inches of moist vermiculite so this does not
happen in the future.
