I've found them to be kind of a hard split. If they start off well, they
do great; if they start out seeming kind of stressed and delicate, they
crash in spite of all efforts to save them. The difference may have more
to do with species than individuals---my "type II" group
(<http://people.qualcomm.com/ntenny/name-that-gecko/>) might be two
different species of which one thrives and one doesn't. All of my crashes
have been in that group.

I've seen prices all over the map for different _Stenodactylus_
sp. Probably safest to assume that no retail price is reasonable. :-)

Apparently not. If you find one, tell me. I can forward the posts I saved
from the _Stenodactylus_ thread; several people very kindly suggested
possible IDs for my geckos and gave some information about the various
species, but there seems to be no grand unified source that would resolve
these matters unambiguously with reasonable effort.
