Most Pumice (volcanic rock) contains no Zinc Sulphate in its natural chemical composition. It is mainly composed of SiO2 (Silicon dioxide) 70% and Al2O5 12%, with small amounts of Na2O, K2O, MgO, Fe2O3, TiO2 depending on its source. Zinc Ash which could be considered an abrasive pumice is used in the production of Zinc Sulphate though.
I would think that the Pumice used for gecko breeding would be the Silicon dioxide type though and not Zinc Ash.

I beg to differ with you. Ive used it, and purchased it in its purest form
for other reasons other than dealing with geckos. Pumice is the common name,
Zinc Sulphate is the chemical name. It can be bought in a variety of
different technical grades from chemical supply houses. As of this writing, I
have a bottle that was purchased from City Chemical in NYC,  The label says,
Zinc Sulphate and in parenthesis Pumice Powder!
