Hi ash,
Live reptiles should not be shipped past the first week of December from
my experience. I've been shipping them since '93. Even the last two
weeks of November this year my Airborne shipments, usually one day
deals, were mostly two days. The reason for this is the domino effect of
high shipping volume of people (yes, I'm shipping myself to Montana,
I'll put some extra heat packs in my container! ;-) ) and Christmas
packages. Add weather to the mix and many more delays occur than is
worth. The lives of our precious geckos are too valuable to risk when
the odds of them experiencing a delay are so great.
The bottom line is: get your geckos shipped after Christmas at this
point. For future reference in ash's case!
