I told my wife this, and she tells me that ours will climb right into her 
teacup to demand their share.  Again, with cream and sugar.  She's never 
let them have much for fear of lactose intolerance.

I take their taste for human food as a good sign; it means they may not be 
so far removed from us after all, so I might have a fair chance of coming 
back as a _variegatus_ in a future life. :-)
