I have heard (from a very reliable source) that Brain Viets had
produced some "purple" leopard geckos several years ago. My
understanding is that it may have been related to incubation
temperature (Brian, are you still on the list?).
Many rumours like that do turn out to be false but others don't. I
remember hearing "Ron bought an albino leopard gecko from some guy in
California" and "Jay has this all white leopard gecko that is so cool
looking" and thinking that it was bunk but I was wrong with both of them.
