Seems there are hundreds of weeping mullberry trees in town. For some reason
almost all the owners decided to trim them short. Why they get a weeping tree,
and then spend half the summer trying to keep the branches to 2 feet long is
beyond me. If you want a tree you can sit under, don't get a weeping one. This
past summer I was joking about starting a 'Weeping Mullberry Tree Pruning
Service'. It sure seems like a great service to offer - trim the trees free, and
even cart the trimmings away. No charge. No hassle for the home owners. And all
the mullberry leaves I could possibly use. :)))
