Well, they are nocturnal, live in dense forest, and catch small invertebrates
for a living, so I would expect their vision to be optimized for very dim light
and detection of small moving objects.  In the daytime, they are probably
sleeping much of the time.  Since they have no eyelids, it's not obvious 
whether they are awake or not if they aren't moving. :-)
