Julie, how do you feel about keeping a dish of mealworms (and food) in
the cage with young, growing leopard geckos?

Hi-
I'm not Julie :) but thats what I do with my leos, and my veileds.
Tho the veileds don't leave any laying around.
I keep 0.3 adult leos in a large setup and this seems to keep them all fat
and happy.
(I feed crickets also)
The downside is that every now and then I find an adult tenebrio beetle in
the substrate. And the leos only try to eat the beetles once, I swear they
look like they wanna spit after. (what are the beetles called anyway?)
This may not be safe with young animals, and some people feel you should
NEVER leave food items in the cage.
