Hey gang! I'm looking for some comment on a couple of things related to
heating a 10 gal. tank for a baby Leopard Gecko.
- I just ordered a Coralife 60 w. IR emitter. I plan to use it with a
dimmer switch. I'd rather use a thermostat - anyone know of one of these
that would work well?
- Ok, the temperature range for a Leopard Gecko is around 88 (day) to 76
(night or the other end of the tank). Right? What effect is there
behavior-wise if the ambient (room) temperature is 80? Would this cut my
baby's appetite? Do you think they need the temperature to go below a
certain point to feed? She was eating great when it was 20 out but not in
the last week or so when it's been in the 30's.
