Roxy took a mealworm from me tonight and I just couldn't wait to tell you
all. I don't know if this is an achievement, but I suppose it does indicate
a certain level of comfortableness with me on Roxy's part. I'm happy.
Still experiencing temperature fluctuations using the baseboard heater in my
room turned all the way up. It's very difficult to work with. However, I
got a money order today for a Coralife 60W IR emitter that I'm buying from
PetsWarehouse.com for $24.19 + 4.95 shipping. I should get it sometime the
end of next week. If we can just hold out until then... I suppose I should
just use my 60W lightbulb during the day until then.
You know, I think Roxy doesn't come out from her hiding bowl until all the
lights are off (about 2-1/2 hours after her lights go off) and probably
until there is no sound in the room except my snoring. Maybe she is just
looking for a distinct temperature drop?
