Well the other morning I found the Golden Gecko, looking skinny and weak,
laying on the floor of the terrarium (bad sign#1) and unable to complete a
shed due to weakness (bad sign#2).  He had that "Dead by Dawn" look, to
quote Evil Dead II.  But gosh darn it, with the aid of some baby food
smeared on the nose morning and night, he's pulled through,
apparently.  Today he is back clinging to the cork bark (good sign, they
like to be vertical), and is almost free of the shed skin.  Amazing little
bugger!  I'll bet if he hadn't been recently deparasitized he wouldn't be
doing so "well".
