Are you sure about this Lyle? Not one was legally collected so far. It is
simply not possible to do so. The Comoro Islands may have given
authorization to collect from Moheli, Grand Comoro and Anjouan, but Mayotte
is a "Territoir d'Outre Mer" from France and not part of the Republic of the
Comoros. Transport between Mayotte and the rest of the archipelago is very
limited. There is a very good connection with Nosy Be in Madagascar and La
Reunion (department of France and European Union), but luckily the animals
are protected by the French (European) law!
