I haven't ever measured the humidity, but I do great by placing the eggs
on a film canister top and placing that on top of vermiculite that was
wet, then squeezed out as much as possible. The eggs are not in direct
contact with the moist vermiculite. This is all inside a deli cup that
has 4-6 pinholes poked in the lid. I usually incubate in a styrofoam
Hovabator-type incubator at constant 80F.
