The "egg box" was delivered to my house today at 12:10
pm. The heat pack wasn't even warm. The two thermometers confused me
a little but hopefully I recorded the required info. The Springfield unit
now appears to be dead but it did have some readings when it first
arrived. The Radio Shack instrument didn't seem to display the current
temp, only a min and a max for both the in and out temp. It indicates that
the inside the box temp got down to 42.1 so I'm not sure how well a gecko would
have faired. However, the egg is still intact.
Unless told otherwise, I will ship the box to Cyndy in the
morning. There are two unused heat packs so I will activate one before i
repack the box. I will also reset the Radio Shack thermometer and record
the temps as I repack. I will take it to the Post Office about 8:30
am.
Anything else I forgot?
