I agree, not happy, but then again, not
necessarily ill. I had a Leo in a cage that had
screen "windows" high up on each side of the cage.
She spent hours climbing a rock and jumping up at
the window until eventually she made it and was
then "stuck" holding on to the screen with no
place to go.
I had to build a walkway around the sides of the
cage so she could just walk up a ramp to the walk
way and be able to look out the window. After that
the window lost its fascination, although the walk
way was a popular place to hang out on.
I would suggest building some sort of way the gek
can get to this place it wants to be soooo badly.
Once it finds out that the place is of no great
interest and is easily visited I think the
behavior will stop. I am still amazed that a Leo
was ale to jump that far and high for it to reach
the window in the cage. It became absolutely
obsessed with the window and spent ALL its time
jumping from the rock and splatting against the
wall...
