No no no, that's how you remove the glass panel, a previous discussion :)

The razor blade scrapers have worked for me to get the worst of it off. Don't
scrape too hard or you might scratch the glass, just get the bulk off first.
Then use a nylon type scouring pad dipped in undiluted vinegar to soften the
rest and scrape it off. Most of the time I've ended up with no trace left on the
glass, but some stubborn Gekko smithi/stentor egg spots left a seemingly
permanent hazy area.
