Hi John and Preston,

It does sound like those U. phantasticus (likely WC, I also bought some
at NRBE) are doing well for you. I have had similar success using
similar husbandry. I have had ALL my hatchlings, including U.
phantasticus, U. sikorae and U. lineatus, die between 1-2 years of age
due to hypocalcemia. This is when I just used Mineral I with D3 and no
full-spectrum lighting.
I am now using Active UV bulbs, so hopefully this won't happen anymore.
All my Uros are doing much better since I started using the Active UV
bulbs. I notice particularly the U. lineatus have much darker and
intense colors - the female has incredible orange on her face and tail
that she did not have before these bulbs.

I have noticed the U. phantasticus will sleep up high in plants, the U.
ebenaui sleep low.
