I may be buying a trio of geckos and the person isn't sure of the true
> name, and called the forest banded geckos.

Anyone else notice yet another place is selling what they don't know what is? Unless you are very experienced, you don't want to take this gamble. It is a gamble because if you don't know what it is, you cannot care for it properly. The chain of probable husbandry errors in this type of situation from lack of knowledge at the sales and customer level (and previous) gets  magnified with each point in the changing of hands that does not know proper  id or care. It is sheer luck than unidentified WCs ever make it past a few months once captured due to the amount of stress they are subjected to from this circumstance.

Let me be clear- I am not knocking Cassie, she did what was necessary to get the id and get going on the proper husbandry techniques. My point is that geckos, or any herps for this matter should not be sold this way, and that Cassie is one of the few folks who can really take a shot at acclimating these types of commercial reptile offerings. If Cassie is successful, then she can perhaps offer us some beautiful CBs. Good luck Cassie, what a great project!
