Hello sir Scotty,
You are such a wonderful help!
I currently feed my leachianus a pinky mouse each about once every two weeks, could this become a problem? I offer them insects at least twice a week, but they have no interest, and I do give them a variety. I just put some fresh mango in last night, but as of this morning they didn't touch it. The cilliatus on the other hand ate all the mango in the bowls, and licked them clean like ravenous mango fiends from a planet devoid of mango.
We(zoomed) have a new product out that is a retorted can of Locust. I'm going to offer it to the leachianus, although I don't have high hopes of them eating dead food. I'll bring some to Daytona for you to try. Retorted insects are moist, unlike freeze dried, and have been eaten by a great number more herps than freeze dried insects. I have all the animals at work trained on em', and even the Phelsuma eat them (they get the retorted meal worms).
Should I not offer pinkies to the leachianus, just so they can go hungry and be more apt to take insects?
I'm buying berries and grapes after work to offer them.

I have the rach book, and have read it front to back, a wonderful book. Where's the Uroplatus book?

Thanks for your offer on the leachi article, that would be great! I will certainly enjoy reading it over some broiled shrimp and hot toddies!

Thanks again, (I'll be taking some pictures of the geckos this weekend, I'll send some your way)

Hey Josh,
I have raised numerous leachianus, and have found most of them take
awhile to get onto insects.  With a little (or a lot in some cases) of
patience they come around.  Try roaches, super worms, and for a treat, I use
blackberries, grapes, rasberries, cantelope, all kinds of stuff.  I will
sometimes stand at the cages and share a bananna with my adults.

Scotty
