Uros usually do not eat fruits. Roaches and crickets are fine.
Supplementation is critical, some of the earlier suggestions were good.
All the babies I held back died of hypocalcemia at about age 1-1/2
years. This is on a diet of crickets and roaches supplemented with
Mineral I w/D3. I think the Active UV bulbs are helping, the Uros are
looking better in my collection. No babies yet though, although my
female U. lineatus looks gravid. I am working with Susan Donohue, the
herp vet nutritionist, on supplementation, I'll let you know how it
goes.
