I have attached an image of a Leopard gecko which hatched about three weeks ago.  The little guy (more likely gal) was obviously defective or had hatched prematurely.  It's stomach was quite concave because it hadn't absorbed the egg yoke the way it should have.  I figured it would die before its second day.

Much to my surprise it survived and even began eating.  At three weeks of age it is 1/2 to 2/3 the size of other hatchlings its age.  It is now eating like a pig and apparently quite healthy.  I did not touch up this photo because I didn't want to mess up the coloration.  It is black and white with a little pink but has no hint of the tan, yellow and brown coloration of a normal juvenile.

Has anyone else seen coloration like this in a "normal" Leopard.  It almost looks like a Goniurosaurus.
