Lyle gives great advice here. I have been bitten quite a few times by
various geckos, mostly breeder male leopards who have been exposed to
the scent of other males. Live and learn! My gravid Rosy Boa missed and
thought my thumb was a fuzzy (mouse for all you non-snake folks), that
was pretty painful!
Your tetanus shots should be up to date, if you get bit and your shot is
out of date, then get the shot. Better to be safe than sorry!
