Hi Lyle, Jamie and all,

Hi Don,
all the animals that came in died. One pair held on a couple months,
through being force fed, but still wasted away. There was talk of them
having trouble from being dug up during hibernation, but I think this was
pure speculation.

it appears that these animals were shipped from Addis Abbaba Ethiopia and it
gets very cold there! My supplier tells me he thinks they reacted to this
almost freezing in the same way as regular Hemithecoyx do. They dont eat
afterwards and die slowly.I ahve seen this before so tend to believe him. He
says the ones they have there eat anything and as well as regular healthy
Hemitheconyx do.

These are very expensive lizards to purchase even in Africa and because I can
get only very few of them and the freight and costs are so high I am not sure
its worth it? With folks so gun shy of them by now and the cost so high its a
hard decision to make!

Don
